Great to finally have our under cover area near the canteen finished. Its looks terrific and the children were very impressed when they visited the canteen on Friday. We still have a bit of painting of brickwork to complete, but it is a much more welcoming and useful area now than it was before with its roller doors and concrete floor (see the before and after photos) The brick wall area around the canteen windows will be painted with a mural featuring our vegetable and herb gardens and cooking program. Don’t forget our WORKING BEE coming up this Saturday.

Welcome back to the new week everyone. This week is a busy one for our year 3 and 5 students who are involved in NAPLAN testing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. At assembly this morning it was exciting to see our three budding Masterchefs, Ari, Rhys and Taylor presented with a certificate and photo of their “plated up” rice paper rolls, by George and Matt (aka Miss Goudswaard and Mrs Stocker) The three Masterchefs were also presented with a pair of chopsticks!!!! The Masterchef class was conducted last Friday as part of the level 4 focus on Asian Studies. Thankyou to everyone for attending our open evening last week. Won’t it be great when we have our new multi purpose facility to conduct these events in?
